These arrangements were commissioned for the Kronos Quartet and Alim Qasimov by the Aga Khan Music Initiative, a program of the Aga Khan Trust for Culture, and the Columbia Foundation.

Laurie Anderson joins Kronos for the world premiere of her new evening-length work at the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center (Feb 1 & 2, 2013), followed by performances at the Adelaide Festival (Mar 2, 2013), Bing Concert Hall at Stanford Live (Apr 20 & 21, 2013), Peak Performances at Montclair State University in New Jersey (May 10 & 11, 2013), and the Barbican (June 28, 2013).
