Program

SOLD OUT – Thank you!

Kronos joins string quartets from the Kaufman Music Center’s Face the Music, the country’s only youth ensemble dedicated to studying and performing music by living composers, for a special concert featuring work composed for Kronos’ Fifty for the Future, our education and legacy project that is commissioning – and distributing for free – the first learning library of contemporary repertoire for string quartet.

This concert is part of the the Kaufman Music Center’s Ecstatic Music Festival. Hailed as “the alt-classical world’s main showcase” by The New York Times, the festival brings together composers and performers from different musical genres for collaborations that lead them in fresh, unexpected directions.
