Kronos and Carnegie Hall to host Fifty for the Future Master Class for Music Educators

Kronos is absolutely thrilled to be collaborating with The Academy for Teachers and Kronos’ Fifty for the Future Lead Partner Carnegie Hall to introduce music educators to the Kronos Learning Repertoire at a masterclass on Wednesday, February 15, from 9 a.m.–4 p.m., in NYC.

With Kronos, the event will explore several pieces of contemporary string quartet music that are approachable by middle and high school instrumentalists and available for free online. These works are part of Kronos’ Fifty for the Future education initiative, which is commissioning 50 string quartets from 25 female and 25 male composers and musicians from around the world. The deadline to apply for the class is this Thursday, January 12. Click here to learn more!
