Kronos on National Geographic’s “Year Million”

Last night, Kronos appeared on National Geographic Channel’s Year Million, a six-part documentary-drama series that explores what it will be like to be human one million years into the future. The fourth episode “Mind Meld” included excerpts of our performance from visual artist Trevor Paglen’s “Sight Machine.” Watch it now >

In January, Kronos took centerstage in Paglen’s large-scale multimedia performance piece that explored the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) technology and visual experience. The collaboration between Paglen, Kronos, and Obscura Digital took place at the Orton Development construction site on Historic Pier 70 in San Francisco. This special event was presented by Stanford University’s Iris & B. Gerald Cantor Center for Visual Arts in tandem with the annual FOG Design+Art Fair.
