Kronos on WQXR’s Music Album of the Week

Record Store Day is coming up this Saturday, April 16, which means our recording of Clint Mansell’s Requiem for a Dream soundtrack will finally be out on vinyl for the first time. This classic recording was chosen as a Q2 Music Album of the Week this week, where WQXR’s Doyle Armbrust raves about this “deliciously chunky 180g vinyl.”

The Music of David Bowie - Livestream

Tomorrow evening, Kronos joins Jherek Bischoff, Amanda Palmer, Anna Calvi, and dozens of other musicians to perform The Music of David Bowie at NYC’s Radio City Music Hall. For those of you who can’t be there, you can still watch the show via livestream, courtesy of the Melodic Caring Project​!

David Bowie Tribute at Radio City Music Hall

For the 12th concert in Michael Dorf’s “Music of” series, Carnegie Hall and Radio City Music Hall each host a night of The Music of David Bowie, which will raise funds for music education programs serving underprivileged kids. Kronos is honored to be part of the April 1 lineup at Radio City, where the group will share the stage with Jherek Bischoff, Amanda Palmer, and Anna Calvi, along with dozens of other artists who all come together to perform the songbook and celebrate the legacy of the late David Bowie.
