The Kronos Quartet comes to the Dakota with a thought-provoking program built for the current moment in Minneapolis. Playing works from innovative composers including John Coltrane, Michael Gordon, Aleksandra Vrebalov, Abel Meeropol, JLIN, and more, Kronos examines the existential human rights of joy, greif, and healing. The quartet also welcomes the hometown duo of Pow Wow singer Joe Rainey and multi-instrumentalist Andrew Broder to finish out the set, amplifying the strong musical voices of Minneapolis. Kronos Live at the Dakota will be a concert to remember, featuring resonant music that reflects on the here and now in the world.
