The San Francisco Symphony and the Bay Area arts community celebrate composer Steve Reich’s 80th birthday with a special event hosted by Michael Tilson Thomas and featuring members of the SFS with special guests Kronos Quartet and Eighth Blackbird. The evening will include performances of groundbreaking, visionary, and socially-engaged works including Six Marimbas, Electric Counterpoint, Different Trains and his Double Sextet. Don’t miss this tribute to an American Maverick.
