Kronos premieres Silent Cranes in Armenia

The world premiere of Mary Kouyoumdjian’s Silent Cranes is quickly approaching, and we need your help to fully fund this important work! Silent Cranes remembers those who were massacred and deported during the Armenian Genocide of 1915, and offers hope for a peaceful resolution in the present day.

Mary Kouyoumdjian and journalist Taleen Babayan were fortunate to meet Azniv Guiragossian - one of the few living Armenian Genocide survivors - while working on Silent Cranes. The new work includes recordings of first-person testimonials like hers.

Kronos premieres Silent Cranes in Yerevan, Armenia on April 29th to mark the centennial of the Genocide, and we need your support to make this project a reality. Please help support Silent Cranes by donating to our Indiegogo project, and by sharing it on Facebook and Twitter.
