Kronos Coast to Coast: My Lai, Black Angels, Dracula, and More

Join Kronos, Rinde Eckert and Vân-Ánh Võ at Stanford’s Bing Concert Hall this Saturday, October 10 at 7:30 PM for the world premiere of the concert version of My Lai. Jonathan Berger’s monodrama, with libretto by Harriet Chessman, portrays the 1968 massacre and its aftermath from the perspective of U.S. Army helicopter pilot Hugh Thompson. Buy Tickets

Kronos and the Brooklyn Youth Chorus will perform together to celebrate the opening of the new home of St. Ann’s Warehouse on Saturday, October 17. This all-day open house event begins with a concert at 12:00 noon (free), followed by a repeat performance at 8:00 PM (tickets start at $25). The program includes world premieres by Sahba Aminikia and Mary Kouyoumdjian, among other works. More Information

On Tuesday, October 20 at 7:30 PM, experience George Crumb’s Vietnam War-era Black Angels (the work that compelled David Harrington to form Kronos) at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in New York.
