Broadening Education with WPA’s Embassy Adoption Program

This past week, we spent a few days in Washington, DC visiting our friends at Washington Performing Arts (WPA)—one of our Fifty for the Future Legacy Partners—and performing for a group of fifth graders at the School Without Walls at Francis-Stevens.

This engagement was one of many that WPA has hosted as part of their Embassy Adoption Program, an expansive partnership between WPA and DC public schools to connect students with up to 75 embassies and other international entities. We’re honored to have been able to contribute to this program, and we hope these students—associated with the Embassies of Azerbaijan and the People’s Republic of China—enjoyed our music composed by Azerbaijan’s Franghiz Ali-Zadeh and China’s Wu Man!
