Kronos is thrilled to announce that the world premiere of “Knock,” composed by our dear friend and former cellist Joan Jeanrenaud, has been added to the final evening’s program of Kronos Festival 2017 on Saturday, February 4, 2017. Featuring Kronos Quartet performing with Vietnamese instrumentalist Vân-Ánh Võ and a special appearance by The Living Earth Show, Day 3 / “The Odyssey” also features work by Võ, Inuit throat singer Tanya Tagaq, and festival artist-in-residence Sahba Aminikia, among others.

In addition, “Pinched” by Switchboard Music Festival’s founder Ryan Brown has been added to the program of the festival’s opening night on Thursday, February 2.
