Kronos releases official music video for One Earth, One People, One Love

Two months ago, Nonesuch Records released the first full recording of Sun Rings, composed by Terry Riley for string quartet, chorus and pre-recorded spacescapes and performed by Kronos with the vocal ensemble Volti (read the reviews). Today, we release the official music video for the final movement “One Earth, One People, One Love,” which features the voices of astronaut Gene Cernan and poet Alice Walker. Directed by Willie Williams, the video was recently created by Treatment Studio, London, for the Sun Rings multimedia live show. Stream/purchase Sun Rings >

The “One Earth, One People, One Love” film was commissioned for Kronos by the National Endowment for the Arts. Additional support was provided by Treatment Studio, London.

Kronos performs Sun Rings next at McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada, on November 9 and at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C., presented by Washington Performing Arts, on March 13.
