From Exploratorium website: “Since their founding in 1973, Kronos Quartet—David Harrington (violin), John Sherba (violin), Hank Dutt (viola), and Sunny Yang (cello)—has been recognized for their innovative and unique reimagining of the string quartet. Their work has evolved to include a range of educational outreach and a commitment to inspire and foster the next generation of string musicians. In this spirit, they return to the Exploratorium for three one-of-a-kind, fully acoustic performances, each staged in a different gallery. Each set will be inspired by the location of the performance, and crafted to captivate listeners of all ages.
