EVENTS
Performing around the world
Kronos Quartet typically tours year-round. Each season, the Kronos Performing Arts Association produces events in San Francisco, including a music festival and a community concert with local schools. In the 2019/2020 season, Kronos Quartet performed A Thousand Thoughts: A live documentary with the Kronos Quartet, written and directed by Sam Green and Joe Bini; Terry Riley’s Sun Rings and other events for Riley @ 85; and concerts with Iranian vocalist Mahsa Vahdat; among other programs.
"The Kronos Quartet elevated a concert of music to a spiritual trip through our common humanity – it was universal, all-encompassing, fabulously inclusive.” – The Globe and Mail
