Kronos is proud to be a part of Voices of Hope, Carnegie Hall’s first-ever online festival examining the life-affirming power of music and the arts during times of crisis. Our program, which premiered last Saturday, is now available to stream through May 31, along with more than 100 other free festival events, including music, theater, films, exhibitions, and talks.
Join us for a very special program featuring music by Michael Gordon, Hawa Kassé Mady Diabaté, Zachary James Watkins, Mary Kouyoumdjian, Mahsa Vahdat, Sahba Aminikia, and Terry Riley, and special guests Vijay Gupta, Hawa Kassé Mady Diabaté, Rokia Kouyaté, Mahsa Vahdat, and Marjan Vahdat. Several visual and film artists also contributed to the program – Catherine Owens, Moustapha Diallo, Lucy Durán, Evan Neff, Laurie Olinder, Pinar Demiral, and Nurie K. Mohamed. Special thanks to all who contributed to the program, including our partners at Stanford Live, UCLA’s Center for the Art of Performance, and Kirkelig Kulturverksted.
