Kronos Quartet closes out a three-day Slovakia-based virtual festival that begins on July 9th. Kronos joins musical artists Donny Benét (Australia), Marina Satti & Fonés (Greece), Liraz (Iran/Israel), Crack Cloud (Canada), Shht (Belgium), Space Lady (USA), Bazzookas (The Netherlands), Milan Lasica & Dorota Nvotová (Slovakia), and Tittingur (Slovakia), as well as a screening of Lucia Kašová’s documentary Orchester z krajiny ticha (Orchestra from the Land of Silence) about the Afghan women’s orchestra ZOHRA, writers’ talks, discussions, visual arts presentations, and other events.
