The Recording Academy has nominated Leslie Ann Jones, Robert C. Ludwig, John Kilgore, Judith Sherman, and David Harrington for the Best Engineered Album, Classical, Grammy Award for their engineering, mastering, and mixing work on Terry Riley: Sun Rings.
Kronos to receive prestigious Dutch career achievement award later this month
Kronos is honored to be awarded the Ouevreprijs for career achievement by the Edison Foundation at the annual Edison Klassiek Awards in Amsterdam on Sunday, November 24.
Kronos releases official music video for One Earth, One People, One Love
Supporting Kronos’ recent album Terry Riley: Sun Rings, the video for the final movement of the work was directed by Willie Williams, the designer of the Sun Rings live show, and created by Treatment Studio, London.

Designed and developed by the San Francisco design and storytelling company First Person, the site provides a gateway to discover, explore and learn contemporary string quartets composed by 25 women and 25 men from around the world. Fifty for the Future: The Kronos Learning Repertoire is Kronos’ ongoing multi-year commissioning, performance, education and legacy initiative.
